System Health Check

Investment $50 (remote service only)

  • Thorough assessment of both the hardware and software on your workstation or server
  • Written report of finidings and recommendations on the health of both the hardware and operating system
  • Assessment is conducted via remote access and scheduled during a time when the system is not in use

System Tune-Up

Investment $100 (remote service only)

  • Thorough assessment of both the hardware and software on your workstation or server
  • Written report of findings and recommendations on the health of both the hardware and operating system
  • Assessment is conducted via remote access and scheduled during a time when the system is not in use
  • Perform the following one-time system maintenance:
    • Scan for viruses and spyware and resolve any issues that are found
    • Ensure that all operating system patches are installed and current
    • Updated all installed programs to the current stable version (if they are freely available)
    • Analyze hard drives for fragmentation and resolve and issues
    • Analyze boot process and resolve any system startup issues

Monthly Maintenance Plans

Investment starting at $50 per month (one year commitment and non-refundable)

  • Design a customized service and support plan to monitor and maintain your business infrastructure, which can include your network devices, computers, servers and retails systems, if applicable
  • Depending on your needs and budget, monthly plans can include one or more of the following:
    • Automated monitoring of systems and services for early detection of potential issues
    • Managed security software for computers and servers (firewall, antivirus and anti-spyware)
    • Operating system patch monitoring and installation
    • Software version monitoring and updates for all installed programs
    • Automated off-site back up of files and data
    • Remote technical support
    • On-Site technical support
    • Secure remote access to your systems

Ken Fischer fell in love with small business at an early age. His first after school job was working in Downtown Annapolis at his parents’ Main Street gift shop, and by the time he was 17 he had started his own seasonal foodservice business which is still in operation today. Ken has been a computer enthusiast since he first walked into a computer lab in 1983, but it took until 1998 for his hobby to turn into a career. From his first helpdesk job, to managing the Network Operations team at a large private university in Washington D.C., Ken has had first-hand experience putting technology to work for businesses of all sizes. Since founding Fischer IT Solutions in 2012, he has helped dozens of local small businesses use technology to achieve their goals. Born and raised in Annapolis, he partners with clients from Baltimore to Virginia Beach, and everywhere in between.
